About Us

About Our Passion

Open Trust Global began because we kept seeing the same problem repeat itself around the world: generous people were giving sacrificially, but they had no reliable way to know if their gifts were being used with integrity. Reports looked clean, newsletter photos told a nice story, but the reality on the ground didn’t always match.

Our passion is to change that. We walk alongside donors, foundations, ministries, and NGOs to provide honest oversight and clear accountability. We visit projects, verify activity, ask the hard questions, and help leaders build systems that honor both the donor and the people they serve.

When generosity is protected, impact grows. And that’s why we do what we do.

The Problem(s) we are helping solve….

Todd Turner

Founder

Todd Turner is a digital strategist and nonprofit consultant with nearly 30 years of experience helping ministries and nonprofits earn donor confidence and expand their impact worldwide. Over his career, Todd has helped raise more than $120 million through digital fundraising campaigns, blending sharp analytics with a deep understanding of faith-based organizations.

He’s served ministries across continents—learning from and teaching from leaders in China, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Israel, England, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Italy, Yugoslavia, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Kenya, Turkey, Japan, Croatia, and Norway. Those travels shaped his conviction that generosity transcends culture when integrity leads the way.

As founder of Open Trust Global, Todd works to bridge the gap between donors and ministries through transparency, accountability, and shared mission. Whether he’s in a boardroom or on a back road in the bush, Todd brings humor, curiosity, and a steady belief that doing good should also be done well.

Jason Miller

Field Consultant

Jason Miller has spent the better part of three decades living out adventure and ministry across the globe. His first taste came in 1994, trekking through Ecuador’s jungles and climbing Cotopaxi. That climb sparked a lifelong love for exploration that’s carried him up Kilimanjaro, through the plains of Kenya and Tanzania, across the deserts of Namibia, and deep into the Amazon basin.

Over the years, Jason has managed projects in more than twenty African nations—ranging from sustainable farms and fish hatcheries to children’s rescue centers and medical relief efforts. He’s led donor visits, coordinated complex logistics, and helped local teams bring life-changing projects from vision to reality. Before joining Open Trust Global, Jason served as a Director of Development, helping raise over $30 million for projects throughout Africa and South America.

An adventurer at heart, Jason holds single-engine land and seaplane ratings, has restored and sailed a 50-foot wooden yawl, and currently rides his motorcycle across Africa between consulting trips. He speaks Swahili, Zulu, Spanish, and Afrikaans (and is learning French and Portuguese).

When he’s not working with ministries in the field, Jason can usually be found fixing up his riverboat for future expeditions, adding to his 1,500-volume library on exploration, or swapping stories from a lifetime spent off the beaten path.
